Sky Sports presenter Jo Wilson has revealed that she has been diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer.
The 37-year-old, who has hosted Sky Sports since 2015, said that she's currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment after being diagnosed this summer, writes The Mirror. Back in June, Jo had gone for a routine smear test and the results detected signs of cancer.
One month later further tests showed that she was battling 3b cervical cancer with it having spread to two of her lymph nodes. Jo, who is proud mum to 23-month-old daughter Mabel, said she broke down in tears to her husband Dan after doctors delivered the news.
