Sky News presenter Sarah-Jane Mee choked up during the show on Thursday, as the family of Nicola Bulley shared a heartbreaking plea nearly a week on from her going missing.
The mortgage adviser, 45, was last seen last Friday at about 9.20am while walking her brown spaniel Willow, near the River Wyre in the Lancashire village of St Michael's.
Searches continue for the missing mother, and her family shared an emotional plea for her return on Thursday hoping she or someone who knew where she was would see it.
In the moving clip, her sister Louise shared how she wanted her sister back as she said to viewers: "Just if anybody knows anything just let us know. Nicky, if you're out there just let us know you're okay. We can sort anything out we just want you home."
Her dad Ernest added: "The main thing is we want to find Nicola and get her back home. There are two young children there waiting for their mummy to come back.
"If Nicola is out there if she is watching this, then all I would like to say is just come home, contact the police, contact ourselves and we just want you back."
As it cut back to the studio, host Sarah-Jane was overcome with emotion before she shared the police's latest appeal for information.
Choking up, she said: "A very emotional interview there with Nicola Bulley's family... excuse me. Right, let's take a look at the image police have revealed today, and this is a potential new witness they are looking for.
"It could be really important in the search for Nicola Bulley. As you can see, the red coat, the white bobble hat and a white dog."
The possible witness was revealed to have been in the area that Nicola was last seen in before she vanished,
The presenter then said to her colleague: "Gosh, you can just sense the family's utter bewilderment as to how they are in the middle of this, as they put it, nightmare and they are still not closer to finding Nicola nearly a week on."
