The Michelin Guide, famous for awarding its illustrious stars, has announced the winners of this year's Bib Gourmand - an award given to restaurants offering fine cooking at good value prices.
The Great Britain and Ireland section had 16 new winners - with 11 from England, three from the Republic of Ireland and two from Scotland.
Bib Gourmands have been awarded to restaurants since 1997, with the price limit for a 'Bib' varying from country to country depending on the cost of living.

London
Brutto, Clerkenwell
This Tuscan-inspired restaurant and bar specialises in the Florentine staples including pastas and steaks.
Pahli Hill, Regent’s Park and Marylebone
Located in Fitzrovia and named after an old city neighbourhood in Mumbai, India - Pahli Hill provides diners with exquisite regional small plates derived from home recipes and traditional techniques.
Manteca, Shoreditch
This Italian restaurant describes its cooking style as nose-to-tail - focusing on whole-animal butchery, hand-rolled pastas, wood-fired breads, and their in-house salumeria.

Humble Chicken, Soho

Sargasso, Margate – Kent
Overlooking the harbour, Sargasso uses locally sourced ingredients, but takes inspiration from European coastal cooking.
The restaurant describes itself as a "place by the sea to enjoy coastal cooking, real wine, music & guest broadcasting."
Sculthorpe Mill, Sculthorpe – Norfolk
The former watermill turned country pub is located in the breath-taking Norfolk countryside.

An Italian-inspired restaurant which focuses on seasonal produce to make "clever and wholesome" dishes.
