It took a heroic performance from Joel Embiid, lights out shooting from Danny Green, some Tyrese Maxey magic, and even a big first-half from James Harden, but the Sixers cut into the Heat’s series lead with a 99-79 win on their home court in Game 3.
Embiid had 18 points and 11 rebounds in the win, but it was Green, who had 21 on 7-9 from beyond the arc, and Tyrese Maxey, who scored all 21 of his points in the second half, who led the way for Philly. Meanwhile, 15 of Harden’s 17 points came before the break.
Game 4 is set for Sunday night at 8 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Center.
