Sydney Sixers veteran Jordan Silk is hoping for the chance to meet cross-town rivals the Sydney Thunder in a landmark Big Bash League grand final.

The two Sydney clubs have never met in a finals match before, with the Thunder making the post-season in five of 13 previous seasons.
