Howth RNLI has urged people to be vigilant around water after two boats suffered malfunctions this weekend.
Volunteer lifeboat crew assisted in the case of two separate emergencies this week. The first incident involved a sailing yacht and occurred on Friday shortly after 9pm.
Howth RNLI rushed to the aid of three people on board the sailing yacht, which had suffered from engine failure on its passage from Malahide to Howth. The boat was promptly tugged back by the crew to Howth Harbour.
