France wing Damian Penaud has gone viral on TikTok in a video which shows his teeth being taken out and used on a scratch card.
The Clermont Auvergne man has played 34 times for Les Bleus and was part of the Grand Slam-winning team in 2022. However, one of the things you may not know about the superstar is he has false teeth.
According to French media outlet RugbyOTop, Penaud knocked out his teeth during training with Clermont. He has since made fun of himself, making the replacement teeth the punchline of his own jokes!

The video has recently received almost half a million views in just five days, as well as over 35,000 likes. He starts off by comically scooping his dentures out of what appears to be a hot chocolate, before slipping them back in with a grin on his face.
You can watch a clip of it below. The full video is a compilation of Penaud, but his scratch card gag is at the beginning.
Penaud is well known amongst the French as a very laid-back and colourful character, according to RugbyWorld.
According to one of his early mentors at Clermont, he used to rock up to training half asleep, late, and in his flip flops. Team mate Yohan Beheregaray said that when the team went for dinner in Paris, Penaud would spend half an hour on the toilet playing games on his phone.
Mentor Aurélien Rougerie has since straightened him out from those rebellious earlier years, but his quirky side seeps through from time to time.
