Six Nations 2026 table, fixtures, schedule and results after round three

France are still firmly on course to win a first Six Nations Grand Slam since 2022.

The confident defending champions made it three wins from three heading into the only fallow week of 2026 after brushing aside spirited Italy in Lille to add to their respective bonus-point routs of Ireland and Wales.

They are four points clear of closest challengers Scotland, who produced a dramatic late comeback to break Welsh hearts in Cardiff, having also eased past England in the Calcutta Cup to respond to a shock opening weekend loss in rainy Rome.

Ireland have also come roaring back from their own demoralising defeat in week one, edging out Italy on home soil before totally dismantling England in a stunning record win at Twickenham. They added to that streak with a routine defeat of Wales in round four.

England - who had been on a 12-Test winning streak - languish down in fourth place after a horror week for Steve Borthwick, ahead of a trip to the Stadio Olimpico in round four.
