Six Glasgow kids take the top prizes in a national maths challenge

Six Glasgow children have beaten hundreds of students from across the UK in a national maths challenge.

The competition was launched by The British Youth International College back in February with the most recent iteration taking place in September. The top performers across each of the 10 levels of Supermaths training are awarded certificates and prizes.

Aanya Pasupuleti, a nine-year-old from Lenzie, picked up the level nine award in the Abacus Maths competition. Her parents were left thrilled after their daughter's mental arithmetic skills were recognised.
