Six Flags Goliath Death: 'Was This a Preventable Tragedy?' Lawyer Questions Park's Potential Liability

The death of Hassan Jihad Ibn Kariem, 42, at Six Flags Over Georgia has raised questions about amusement park safety and potential legal liability. A lawyer cited in a New York Post report said the case could hinge on what the park knew, or reasonably should have known, about possible safety risks.

Kariem died on Monday, 12 October 2026, after being ejected from the Goliath roller coaster near Atlanta, Georgia. Police said he struck other riders before falling from the attraction. The circumstances surrounding his ejection remain under investigation.
