The cost of living crisis has us all wondering how we can save money on our energy bills, which appliances are the most energy-efficient, and which are raking up the most money.
This comes as households around Scotland are feeling the pinch as we come into winter. On October 1, energy costs increased with the price cap for the average household hitting £2,500.
This price has been frozen until April 2023, by Liz Truss' energy price guarantee, meaning that if you're on a standard variable tariff paying by direct debit, the average unit price will be frozen at 34.0p/kWh for electricity and 10.3p/kWh for gas (including VAT).
