Today in Paris, the pole vault competition saw twenty women qualify for the final round, with all of them successfully clearing the 4.40-meter mark in the initial height challenge.
As the competition progressed, the field began to narrow down after the 4.60-meter round. The first set of eliminations included Tina Šutej of Slovenia, Lene Onsrud Retzius of Norway, Anjuli Knäsche of Germany, Roberta Bruni of Italy, Elina Lampela of Finland, and Ninon Chapelle of France, much to the disappointment of the local supporters.
With the bar set at 4.70 meters for the next round, the remaining competitors are gearing up to face the challenge and showcase their skills in this high-stakes event.
