NEW DELHI: Sanju Samson's journey in cricket has been marked not only by his talent but also by his admiration for the legendary Mahendra Singh Dhoni. At the tender age of 19, Samson was included in the India squad and travelled to England (India's tour of England in 2014), an experience that allowed him to share the dressing room with none other than Dhoni himself.
Despite his youth, Sanju didn't shy away from seizing the opportunity to learn from one of the game's greats. He peppered Dhoni with questions and eagerly soaked in every tip and insight the veteran had to offer during the tour, seizing the opportunity to take as many leaves out of the veteran cricketer's book.
