Sister Wives' Meri Brown and her close pal Jenn Sullivan have defended themselves from fans after going live on Instagram, with them urging that they were not intoxicated.
Meri and her friend Jenn often go live on the platform for Friday With Friends, a segment that sees the Sister Wives star and her pals chat and gossip - all while keeping her fans in the loop with her life.
The reality TV star, 52, split from her husband of 32-years Kody Brown last December, with the brunette beauty clearly moving on and living a happy life since.
In the most recent segment of the TLC star's video series, Meri and Jenn couldn't stop laughing when they started filming - with them both in hysterics.
Trying to work the camera properly, Jenn's phone then got a text message which left the two women laughing out loud and giggling so much that they could barely speak.
Laughing about the unusual ringtone that Jenn had on her phone, Meri's pal then explained: "I had the phone on my lap, and every time she texts me, it sounds like I've tooted."
Jenn then said that it's "quite embarrassing" when the ringtone sounds, with the pals then finding their composure to begin the video again.
But chaos soon erupted once again when Jenn's phone went off again which meant the two friends lost it as the cell phone "tooted" away.
In total hysterics, Jenn then urged fans "we are not drunk" before adding: "We're just dumb."
In the comments section of the live video, one fan asked: "Y'all drunk?" which left another fan replying with: "No they're not. Stop assuming. You do not need alcohol to be happy and funny."
Another person also penned: "All these haters. All y'all wanted her away from Kody... no she is... and living her best life... so let her be."
"I don't get it. Why are people saying she's drunk!? Can't people laugh and be silly without being drunk?? She's not slurring her words. They are just enjoying themselves."
Meanwhile other fans were quick to praise the two friends for the laughter they brought them.
This comes a few weeks after reports and fans claimed that Meri was "intoxicated" during an Instagram live with her pal.
Chatting with Jenn in a video around St. Patrick's Day, Meri was seen drinking from a green sparkly cup, which sparked comments from fans.
"She's drinking again," one person wrote under the video, while another said: "Omg are you drunk??"
But Meri soon set the record straight when she explained the situation and slammed the fans who speculated in the comments.
Hitting back at the critics and putting them straight, Meri explained that she wasn't drunk, but was instead "happy".
"Am I drunk or just happy?" she asked. "That is called happiness. A lot of people don't know how to do one without the other, I personally do and so does Jenn!"
