SIS has approved, in principle, a proposal to undertake a share buyback of up to Rs 120 crore, marking its fifth buyback since listing in August 2017.
The company has fixed the maximum buyback price at Rs 478.50 per share, representing a 10% premium to the previous closing price of Rs 435. Based on the maximum buyback size, SIS could repurchase around 25 lakh shares, though the final number will depend on the buyback price.
