Sir Rod Stewart has shared his pre-gig warm up routine as he continues his US tour.
The Maggie May singer, 77, took his followers behind-the-scenes of one of his shows last night as he demonstrated his pre-concert antics. His video began with Rod being handed his earpiece before he started to stretch his legs, jumping up into high knees.
The individual holding the microphone continued to glare at the singer with a very stern face throughout the video. He then danced with the guitar player, but fans couldn't help but comment on his "unimpressed" look.
Rod was jumping about backstage, and captioned the Instagram video: "Ever wondered about my pre-gig warm up? Always time to get limber for you lot."
Fans rushed to the comments of Rod's video to buzz over the backstage clip. One fan commented: "So cute Rod. I'm listening to your songs a lot lately and I love your voice so much! "
Another wrote: "You're just way too cute! What a personality!!!" A third gushed: "Thanks Rod for your creativity! I love your voice and your songs!"
However, some fans couldn't help pointing out the unimpressed crew member in the background. One wrote: "The guy holding the microphone is having a little chuckle inside."
Another joked: "The guy in the background watching him." A third said: "Chap behind you not looking too impressed."
This comes as Rod took to Instagram yesterday to share his condolences after the death of his "great friend" Olivia Newton-John. He posted an iconic photograph of Olivia as Sandy in Grease and penned: "My great friend Olivia Newton John has passed away.
"She was the perfect lady, gorgeous, with great poise and with a certain Aussie sophistication. Her spandex trousers in Grease were my inspiration for my ‘Do ya think I’m Sexy‘ era. RIP Olivia."
