Legendary Sir Alex Ferguson was berated by a Manchester City fan as he left the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
The former Aberdeen and Manchester United boss, widely regarded as the game's greatest ever manager, was in attendance as his old team were thumped in the Manchester derby.
United have never recovered from his retirement in 2013 and he was seen shocked in the stand as Ralf Ragnick's side stuttered to a 4-1 thrashing at the hands of the league leaders.
Times have changed since he was in charge with City winning four league titles since United's last in 2013.
And one City fan saw it fit to remind the 80-year-old of that in a clip that emerged on social media.
One smart-Aleck fan was heard shouting: "Ferguson, never in my lifetime? City, City, City, City!"
The fan was referencing a famous comment from Ferguson in 2009 when he was asked if United would ever go into a derby against City as underdogs.
He confidently responded: "What time is it? I think it's time for me to leave...not in my lifetime."
The Scot didn't respond though did appear to take the tirade in good humour as security escorted him safely through the concourse.
