MOHALI : A Punjabi singer’s manager, Shagan Preet Singh, had introduced the fourth sharpshooter to the other three and they used Shagan’s car for a recce of the house of Vicky Middukhera. The job of the fourth shooter, who is yet to be identified, was to identify Vicky as the target for the other three.
They first planned to eliminate Vicky outside his house on August 7, 2021, morning and had stationed themselves near a park opposite his house around 6am. Shagan had told them that Vicky comes out to wash his car in the morning. Vicky, however, did not come out in the morning that day. The sharpshooters followed him when he went out around 10am. They killed him when he was coming out of a property dealer’s office in Sector 78.
This was revealed by the sharpshooters during their interrogation, said police. They waited outside Vicky’s house in Shagan’s car. And while following him, they changed the car to a Hyundai i-20 one and reached outside the property dealer’s office. The fourth sharpshooter’s job was to identify Vicky for Latth, Bholu and Sunny so that they can execute the killing. In a CCTV footage, the three were seen showering bullets on Vicky and the fourth was waiting in the i-20 car.
