Singer Mike Peters gives heartbreaking update on his cancer battle

Singer Mike Peters has told fans that his cancer has returned and he has been taken back into hospital. The Alarm frontman made the announcement on social media.

Peters has been fighting chronic lymphocytic leukaemia - and also pneumonia since May. In the last two weeks, doctors have said his leukaemia is "running out of control."

The 63-year-old, from Rhyl, has been taken into North Wales Cancer Centre for immediate treatment.
