Singer John Newman has become a father for the first time and announced his baby's safe arrival.
The Love Me Again singer, who married wife Nana in 2018, shared an adorable black and white snap of the new baby on Instagram.
The little one looks blissfully content napping and enjoying some skin to skin snuggled in a blanket and wearing a knitted hat.
John, 32, simply penned: "A star is born xx"
The Brits winner is yet to announce his child's name but fans gushed to congratulate him on becoming a father.
One said: "Congratulations the baby got daddy's lips soo adorable"
Another fan said: "Omg congratulations to you both he's just perfect enjoy every special day xxxxx"
The singer, who shot to fame after with Rudimental collaboration Feel the Love a decade ago, met his now wife air hostess Nana, on a flight from Copenhagen to Bornholm in Denmark.
The chance meeting sparked a fairy-tale romance with John saying how he 'loved spending time with her' and the pair became inseparable ever since.
John proposed to Nana in 2018, just 12 months after he revealed that a tumour which he had removed in 2012, had come back.
He was later given the all- clear and now has monthly check-ups.
The singer-songwriter tied the knot at a registry office in north London in August 2018 before heading to his home in Kent for the celebrations.
Sharing shots of the day he posted: "The day I got married to the greatest women in the world."
In another picture his Danish wife kisses him passionately in a vintage car.
Newman took a well-documented break in 2020 from the music industry and admitted he came to a point where the “suffocation” of his mental health had reached a critical stage and enough was enough.
He told Metro at the time: "I do want to sing songs for years," he told, "And if I didn't stop and sort my health out, then I could have been dead."
He came back to music last year with a renewed energy releasing track Holy Love, channelling a more dance-orientated sound.
