Cesc Fabregas has compared Trent Alexander-Arnold's passing ability to that of his former Barcelona team-mate Dani Alves. The Liverpool right-back hasn't enjoyed the best start to the new season, but his passing range was on display in the Reds' 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace on Monday night.
It was a frustrating night at Anfield for Liverpool after falling behind thanks to a Wilfried Zaha goal on the counter attack in the first half before Darwin Nunez was sent off after half time. Luis Diaz's moment of brilliance rescued a point for the 10-men.
Alexander-Arnold wasn't at his best, but could have had two assists after creating two chances for Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez, but neither could convert.

The former Arsenal, Barcelona and Chelsea midfielder took to his Twitter account to praise the Liverpool right-back after some fine passes at Anfield on Monday night.
"Haven’t seen a fullback with this range of passing since @DaniAlvesD2 [Dani Alves],” the Spanish World Cup winner said on Twitter.
Alves won numerous trophies after moving from Sevilla to Barcelona and his link-up with Lionel Messi down the right for the Spanish giants was one of the most feared partnerships in world football.
At the age of 23, Alexander-Arnold has won it all for Liverpool and he has plenty of years ahead of him to win multiple Premier League's and Champions League trophies.
