The Sin City Boston Celtics finished out their slate of regular Las Vegas Summer League games with another impressive win, beating the Memphis Grizzlies’ summer league squad 108-91 with quite the impressive game from the Celtics’ No. 53 pick of the 2022 NBA draft, guard JD Davison.
The Alabama product put on a show, logging 28 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists, 3 steals, and a block in an outing that made Boston look like geniuses for gambling on Davison this summer. The former Crimson Tide combo guard had help from stashed Celtics guard Juhann Begarin (19 points), forward Justin Jackson (16 points, 5 assists), and guard Brodric Thomas (13 points, 5 assists) among the starters.
Boston also saw big man Trevion Williams (11 points, 3 assists) and forward Aubrey Dawkins (10 points, 3 rebounds) off of the bench as the Summer Celtics improve to 3-1 in the Las Vegas Summer League “regular season”.
