Another expansion for The Sims 4 isn’t far off, and it’ll allow everyone to relive those troublesome teenage years. Minus all the calculus test stress and awful acne outbreaks, of course.
On Thursday, EA announced The Sims 4’s High School Years expansion pack. George Pigula, the lead producer on this expansion, gave a brief rundown of what fans can expect.
“Sims will learn to juggle school and extracurricular events, form lifelong friends, and experience big moments like prom,” Pigula said in a press release. “They can even develop their own fashion likes & dislikes with the new Trendi app with clothes designed by Depop sellers. High school is an incredibly formative time, and we wanted to give players the chance to create and customize their own, personalized high school experiences before their Sims reach young adulthood.”
Check out the High School Years announcement trailer below. Oh, what I wouldn’t give for my adolescence to be even half this cheery.

This update comes not long after the Moonlight Chic and Little Campers kits, which weren’t popular among fans initially. Guess that long-waited expansion wasn’t too far off, though.
In any event, The Sims 4‘s High School Years expansion launches July 28, 2022, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam and Origin.
