One of London’s oldest restaurants, Simpson’s in the Strand, will reopen after a three-year closure in February.
The restaurant first launched in 1828 and quickly became popular with London’s high society thanks to its fine English roasts, silver carving trolleys and chess competitions. It closed in 2022 but was bought by the famed restaurateur Jeremy King last year after he parted ways with his former restaurant group and started anew.
