Newlywed couple Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens will be headed to Lambeau Field for the latter’s next professional stop.
Owens, a veteran NFL safety most recently with the Houston Texans, signed a 1-year deal with the Green Bay Packers on Friday.
The news was first shared by Owens’ new bride Biles, the gold medal-winning U.S. Olympic gymnast.
The Packers had a need for a veteran presence in their secondary, and now the team will have one of the greatest gymnasts in the country’s history cheering on her husband and his teammates in the stands.
The newlywed couple posed in Packers gear to celebrate Owens signing his new deal.

This fall, Owens will begin his sixth year in the NFL with a new team, a Packers squad taking on a new challenge post-Aaron Rodgers.
It’s an exciting time for the couple as they relocate to Wisconsin and prepare to trade Texan blue and red for Packer green and yellow.
As first reported by @Simone_Biles and now a done deal, per his agent, S Jonathan Owens heads to the #Packers after starting 17 games for the #Texans last year. https://t.co/ItDAAtzBCg
