Simon Jordan has said that Bournemouth were ‘lucky’ to go in at half time level against Nottingham Forest in Tuesday night’s crunch clash.
The Reds went into the game knowing that a win would have put them in the driving seat for a place in the Premier League next season ahead of the final game of the season at the weekend. Forest secured a play-off place but were pushing for a top-two finish.
However, an 83rd-minute strike from Kieffer Moore put an end to those hopes and secured Bournemouth a second-place finish at the end of the season. It means that Forest will have to settle for a place in the play-offs.
