Simon Jordan believes Newcastle United could spend in the region of £400million and still comply with Financial Fair Play regulations. The impending arrival of Alexander Isak is set to take the Magpies spending over £200million since the arrival of the new owners.
The takeover last season made the Toon the richest club in world football but have not spent anywhere near the figures expected. Financial Fair Play has limited what Newcastle can spend, making a repeat of Manchester City's rise to prominence highly unlikely.
However, the former Crystal Palace owner believes the Magpies could easily increase their spending in the current transfer window, given the position Mike Ashley left the club.
