Simon Jordan brands Celtic keeper Joe Hart 'useless' as he defends Nuno Espirito Santo in fiery rant

Shock jock Simon Jordan has branded Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart "useless" after he revealed a behind the scenes fallout at Tottenham.

The keeper was left demoralised after being told he was finished at the top level by former Spurs gaffer Nuno Espirito Santo before moving north of the border.

However, former Crystal Palace chief Jordan reckons the Portuguese boss had every right to tell Hart why he wasn't wanted at the English Premier League side before he joined Celtic.

He told talkSPORT: "People laugh about certain aspects of Joe Hart. He is not entitled to be spoken to in any fashion better than anybody else.

"If this is the way this manager operates he will reap the whirlwind, and he consequently has at Tottenham Hotspur.

"The bottom line is he asked a question and he gave him an answer. If you can't take the answer, don't ask the question.

"He's decided he won't whisper it or get an assistant manager to do it, I'll have the balls to tell you.

"Joe has been bodied by six clubs, He's gone to Torino, he was useless out there. He went to West Ham, he wasn't much better there. He's useless."

But pundit and England cap Trevor Sinclair, who has never been shy about his love for Celtic, leapt to Hart's defence.

It wasn't lost on him either that Hart is currently the man behind the defence which has conceded the fewest number of goals this season.

He replied: "It's not about what the answer is, it's about how you deliver it. He lost a lot of players – if you talk to the other players they didn't like playing under Nuno.

"He delivered it wrong and didn't give him a lifeline.

"It looks like he's getting the golden glove in the SPFL as well."

The England cap claims he was told by Espirito Santo after asking why the club were looking to bring in another goalkeeper: "The ball’s too quick for you, you’re too old, you’re not moving, you’ve got no strength in your body."
