- The Chase host Bradley Walsh will stand in for Simon Cowell during auditions for Britain’s Got Talent in October, according to reports.
- Walsh, who is also known for playing Graham O'Brien, the companion to Jodie Whittaker on Doctor Who , has reportedly been drafted in while Cowell recovers from surgery.
- He will join a judging panel which also includes Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and KSI.
- Cowell recently had a back operation due to problems linked to an e-bike crash in 2020, which resulted in lasting nerve damage, and missed the live finale of America's Got Talent last week, with KSI replacing him.
- The Sun reported that other well-known names discussed to replace Cowell on Britain’s Got Talent included comedians Lee Mack and Greg Davies.
