Simon Cowell has dismissed the suggestion that him and fiancée Lauren Silverman have set a date for their wedding, with him stating that they haven't even planned it all yet.
The record executive, 62, and the socialite, 44, announced their engagement just a few months ago, with speculation rife at the moment over the pair's upcoming nuptials.
It's included rumours that the couple - who have an eight-year-old son, Eric Cowell, together - are planning to get married in a ceremony held in London next month.
The Britain's Got Talent judge has however dismissed such speculation, confirming in a recent interview that they haven't planned it yet and they don't have a date.
He explained to ET Canada recently: "I keep reading that I am going to get married next week, next month. It's news to me." He further stated: "We haven't put a date on it."
Cowell further commented that such speculation has made him laugh though as it has sparked concerns among friends, who fear they have been left off the guest list.
The X Factor creator said that people have been calling and asking why they're not invited to the wedding, with him responding: "Because we haven't planned it yet!"

And for those in doubt, Cowell also confirmed during the interview that him and Silverman aren't already hitched - after it was teased recently that this was the case.
He spoke about this ahead of joining Canada's Got Talent as a guest judge for its season finale - which aired live last night - with it filmed in Niagara Falls in Ontario.
Asked ahead of the episode if he knew the location was a popular honeymoon destination, Cowell said he did but added: "I'm coming on my own. We're not married yet."
It's previously been reported that Cowell will be "planning it all" himself and has teased that not even his fiancée is aware of some things that he has planned for the wedding.
The upcoming nuptials are expected to involve the couple's son Eric. It's believed that another key participant will be Silverman's son Adam, 16, from a previous relationship.
Cowell opened up about the relationship earlier this year and said that lockdown had brought them closer together, with it making him realise they "get on really, really well."
