Simon Cowell declares 'we need two BGT finals' as he's blown away by returning acts

Britain's Got Talent returned with a bang tonight as impersonator Suzi Wild among the first semi-finalists taking to the stage for the live shows.

And as the ITV show went live for the first time in nearly two years after a break due to Covid, Simon Cowell dropped a huge bombshell after only seeing three of the evening’s acts.

The talent mogul stunned the audience when he declared the show would need to reformat and have two finals as he was so blown away by the talent on stage.

“It’s not just your talent, it’s your personality. You’ve got a brilliant personality,” he said, giving feedback to hilarious Suzi.

“I'm already thinking we might need two finals this year and we're only three acts in,” he revealed.

“And I’m not kidding,” he added.
