Simon Cowell has broken his silence after a clip of himself clapping on The Jennifer Hudson Show went viral.
In September, the former The X Factor judge walked through the show’s famous “Spirit Tunnel” entrance ahead of his appearance on the chat show.
Viewers commented on his style of clapping as he made his way onto set.
Appearing on Jamie East’s Tales from the Celebrity Trenches podcast on Wednesday (6 May), the 66-year-old admitted that he still has not seen the clip as he gets “really embarrassed about seeing this stuff”.
Confirming that he can indeed clap, Cowell added: “I was just unprepared to waltz and clap on that day.”
