Chelsea are set for a crucial summer with Thomas Tuchel's squad expected to be changed heavily over the next few months.
The west Londoners are likely to offload a whole host of players before the beginning of the new Premier League campaign as the club prepares for a new chapter under Todd Boehly's ownership.
The goal is clear as the former PSG manager looks to get closer to Manchester City and Liverpool next term and mount a serious title challenge.
Some major surgery is needed within the squad before that is a realistic prospect, though, with the summer transfer window set to be one of the busiest in recent history for the club.

One player who could potentially leave Stamford Bridge is midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek, with a recent report stating that the England international has been offered to Inter Milan for £17 million.
After joining Cobham all the way back in 2004, Loftus-Cheek, who is only 26 years old, has been on Chelsea's books throughout his entire professional career.
However, despite being with the club for nearly two decades, he has struggled to cement a regular spot in the starting eleven. Perhaps this summer, he may seek consistent minutes outside of Stamford Bridge.
It makes sense as the likes of N'Golo Kante, Jorginho and Matteo Kovacic are all ahead of him in the pecking order. There are also strong suggestions that Chelsea needs to strengthen the engine room with another top-quality option, leaving Loftus Cheek in a situation where he will again be constrained to minutes in the cup competitions.
