FAQs
Does Simba offer a sleep trial?
Simba currently offers a 200-night sleep trial on its mattresses, bed bases, and toppers, which is a great way to test out its sleep collection and see if the brand’s products are right for you. If you don’t find the Simba mattress you choose quite the right fit, then returns are free and a courier will be sent out to remove the mattress from your home. Simba then recycles or donates the mattress as appropriate. The brand says ‘you’ll be refunded the full value of your item or, if you paid in instalments, any payments made until that time (plus the agreement is cancelled for you)’. However, always read the full terms and conditions before you shop to make sure any promotions or offers don’t impact your return.
How do you return a Simba order?
Simba mattresses, bed bases, and the brand’s Hybrid topper have a 200-night sleep trial, and as it can take a while to get used to a new sleep surface, the brand recommends waiting at least 30 days before requesting a return for these products. All other products, including accessories and refurbished items, have a 30 day returns period if you buy direct from the brand. You should get in touch with Simba’s customer service team to request a return.
If you’ve ordered a Simba product via John Lewis, Amazon, eBay, or any other third party stockist then you will need to contact the stockist you purchased the product from to request a return and bear in mind that each may have its own returns policy.
Are Simba returns free?
Simba returns are free, but the brand states that ‘any applicable delivery charges at the time of ordering will not be refunded’. Once the item is scanned back into the Simba warehouse, the brand will process your refund and cancel financing agreements if you chose an instalment option. The brand says it aims to process any refunds within 14 business days.
Are Simba mattresses delivered in a box?
Simba currently delivers all of its mattresses boxed, which is a great benefit if you live in a home with awkward access, although it’s still best to check that the box will fit around any awkward twists in the stairs or small entryways. You can find the dimensions of all mattresses on the brand’s website in its ‘how big is the box’ section.
Hints and tips
While Simba discount codes are a great way to save money on your order, there are also other ways to cut the cost of your purchase.
Wait for a sale: if you’re looking to score a Simba mattress deal or save money on the brand’s bedding then the good news is that you’ll find regular sales events happening on the brand’s website. What’s more, discounts are usually super generous, with up to 50% off discounts a fairly common occurrence, and you’ll never have to wait too long for a sale, with Simba generally running a promotional event of some kind every few weeks. Sales tend to happen around ‘special’ times of the year, like Bank Holidays, Christmas, New Year, as well as general spring, summer and winter events, so there’s never too long to wait to nab yourself a bargain.
Shop on Black Friday: like many mattress manufacturers, Simba tends to cut its prices drastically on Black Friday to drive pre-Christmas sales. The term Black Friday originated in the US to denote the first day following Thanksgiving when retailers would cut prices to draw holidaymakers to shop their store's sales. Driven by global brands, the price-slashing event soon crossed the pond, and now Black Friday – closely followed by Cyber Monday – has become one of the UK's biggest consumer extravaganzas, rivalling traditional Boxing Day sales. The price-slashing event happens each year on the last Friday of November, although Simba has been known to start its Black Friday discounting early, with great deals running on the Simba website throughout the whole month of November.
Buy a bundle: if you’re setting up a new bedroom from scratch, or looking to overhaul your existing boudoir set-up then Simba’s bundle deals can offer great value. There are usually significant discounts if you buy a mattress, pillows and duvet as a bundle, as well as great prices for shopping a mattress along with a bed frame. Bundle offers can see up to 40% off discounts, so they’re a great option to save some money.
Refer a friend: if you’ve made a qualifying purchase on the Simba website – that’s currently a Simba Hybrid® Essential Mattress, a Simba Hybrid® Mattress, a Simba Hybrid® Pro Mattress, or a Simba Hybrid® Luxe Mattress – then you can use Simba’s referral process to refer a friend. When your friend shops, you receive a £150 voucher to spend on the Simba website, which will buy you one of the brand’s duvets, pillows, or a topper. You can also give your referral to multiple friends, which means you could amass enough vouchers to buy a second mattress! Terms and conditions apply, so just make sure to check the small print.

What to buy from Simba
When you’re shopping at Simba, it’s the mattresses that are the real star of the show. Simba's bestselling Hybrid mattresses use a combination of coil springs and layered memory foam to create their sleep surface, with the number of coil springs – and therefore the responsiveness of the mattress to your body as it moves – plus the number of foam layers, increasing with each step up the price scale.
We put the brand's number one bestselling mattress to the test in our Simba Hybrid mattress review and found it certainly didn’t disappoint, with our reviewer describing it as ‘a solid all-rounder with a memory foam upper that's great for side sleepers, cushioning pressure points, and motion-isolation (particularly important if you have a fidgety bed partner) as well as pocket springs to add longevity and bounce’.
However, that said, a good night's sleep isn't all about the mattress. What you put on it counts too, whether that's the best pillows for your preferred sleeping position, or a duvet that keeps you warm but stops you from overheating in the night, and Simba’s NASA-inspired sleep technology means it has the bedding solutions to do just that.
And, if you want to get your mattress and bedding all sorted in one fell swoop, then the brand’s bundles are well worth a shop. The basic bundles usually offer a mattress, pillows, and duvet, with the top-of-the-range bundles combining a bed base too – often for not much more than the mattress cost alone, so if you're furnishing a bedroom from scratch they can be well worth checking out.
