Nottingham Forest continue to be linked with Blackpool winger Josh Bowler.
The Reds have seen bids rejected for Bowler, who produced another eye-catching performance as the Seasiders defeated Millwall in the Championship at the weekend.
Forest remain interested in the 22-year-old, but Blackpool, who are having an excellent season back in the Championship, are keen to hang on to the former Everton and Hull City man.
LancsLive reports that Forest’s bids “fall well short” of their valuation and that “anything other than a silly bid will similarly be thrown out”.
Blackpool boss Neil Critchley has highlighted what makes Bowler so important to his side.
“What he does is he carries the ball, he can get you from the halfway line to the penalty box in a few seconds so even when you’re defending you know that if they turn the ball over, you’ve got a player who can really hurt teams,” said Critchley.
“When the opposition leaves space, then Josh is really, really effective."
Forest are also interested in Millwall’s Jed Wallace.
