The Met Police has launched an appeal to find a 17-year-old girl last seen in north London.
Chinese national, Shuyi Xu, arrived in the UK from China on December 23.
She was taken into police protection on December 29 after being seen by Heathrow Airport staff who were concerned for her welfare.
Shuyi was taken into care by a local authority but at approximately 2.30pm on January 4, she left an address in Barnet where the she had been staying.
She is also thought to have stayed at addresses in Shoreditch and Whitechapel.
The 17-year-old was last seen wearing a white jumper, black shirt and flat white shoes.
Police do not believe she has come to harm at this stage but are appealing for information.
Detective Inspector Daniel Branch, North West Command Unit, said: "Shuyi speaks Mandarin Chinese and limited English. This is believed to have been her first visit to the UK and she has little experience of London.
"We’re working to build a picture of her movements and who she might have been associating with.
"I urge Shuyi, or anyone who has seen her, to make contact with us immediately."
