NEW DELHI: Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill noted that they fell 15 runs short while batting, as their net run-rate did not see a significant improvement despite their 35-run victory over the Chennai Super Kings in an IPL match on Friday.
Gill, who scored 104 off 55 balls, partnered with fellow centurion B Sai Sudharsan (103 off 51 balls) to put together a 210-run opening stand in Gujarat's total of 231 for 3, which could have easily surpassed 260 runs.
