Shubman Gill climbs to career-high 5th in ICC ODI rankings

NEW DELHI: The Indian opening pair consisting of Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan achieved their highest career rankings in the latest ODI list on Wednesday, setting the stage for the upcoming 50-over World Cup in India, which is less than two months away.

Gill's impressive performance elevated him by two spots to secure the fifth position overall. He now stands within close reach of the Pakistani trio comprising Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, and Imam-ul-Haq.
