Bihar fielders were sent on a leather hunt by the Madhya Pradesh batters as they reached 381/4 in 88 overs on the opening day of their fourth-round Group C Ranji Trophy encounter in Patna on Wednesday.
Opting to bat first, MP captain Shubham Sharma (134 batting off 182 balls) and Venkatesh Iyer (118 batting off 113 balls) both scored unbeaten centuries to lead the onslaught against the Bihar bowlers who looked quite helpless despite playing at home.
