Strictly Come Dancing star Joanne Clifton and Oliver award nominee James Gillian are set to star in Shrek The Musical at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre this year from August 15 to 20.
Other cast members include Cherece Richards making her principal debut as the dragon and Antony Lawrence as Shrek who previously starred in The Lion King, Mary Poppins and Matilda the Musical.
The show will include fan favourite songs ‘I'm A Believer’, ‘Big Bright Beautiful World’ and ’I Know It’s Today’. Shrek the Musical has cemented itself as the: "musical extravaganza for big kids and little kids alike".

Joanne Clifton is most well known for her time on Strictly Come Dancing as a professional ballroom dancer and will play the part of Fiona.
James Gillan, who will be playing the role of Lord Farquaad, most recently played the role of Tray in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie and he has also preformed in Wicked, Starlight Express and Taboo!
The show is brought to the stage by the producers of Hairspray and Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Tickets are available to buy on Ticketmaster through their website.
