Unlike other Bollywood celebrities Shraddha Kapoor prefers to celebrate her birthdays in the comfort of her home and in the midst of her family. Today, as she turns a year old, she shares with ETimes that all she's looking to do on her special day is to wind up work and head home to parents Shakti Kapoor and Shivangi Kapoor.
Revealing her birthday plans she says, "I’m excited that it’s a working birthday. I always like shooting on my birthday. Then finishing shooting and going home to my family. This birthday is also going to be like that."
On the subject of birthday gifts, Shraddha says she doesn't have any special demands. She adds, "Papa keeps asking me what gift he should give me. I can’t even quantify what my parents have done for me. They always try to gift me something, but I always resist. I only ask them for their time and they always make time for me. That’s the biggest gift."
Most celebrities ring in their birthday celebrations with their best friends and Shraddha does the same, but with her special dost. She reveals, "My mother is my best friend in the whole universe. She has been my constant pillar in my life. She is someone whom I turn to in my highest and my lowest and everything in between. I am blessed to have my best friend in my mom."
Shraddha has the release of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar slated for next week, so she's caught up in the promotional activities right now. Despite the busy schedule, she has made sure that she will spend part of the day with family first.
