If outdoors during the storm and lightning, it has advised taking shelter but not under the trees.
"Under the influence of western disturbance, light to moderate rain is likely to be witnessed at many places on Monday and in a few areas on Tuesday. Thereafter, the weather is likely to remain dry across Haryana. Thunderstorms and lightning accompanied by hail and squalls are expected on Monday, while lightning and gusty winds at a speed of 40-50 kmph are likely to be witnessed at isolated places on Tuesday. As a result, there will be a fall in maximum temperature by 3-5°C during the next two days and a rise by 2-4°C thereafter," said an IMD official.
