Amad Diallo has been urged to return to Rangers on loan for the season and 'show the player he actually can be'.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst swooped for the highly-rated Manchester United winger during the January transfer window alongside his blockbuster loan signing of Aaron Ramsey from Juventus. Diallo made the perfect start to life at the Light Blues by netting almost instantly on his debut in a clash with Ross County.
But the attacker didn't have the impact hoped on the first team and only featured 13 times during his temporary stay in Glasgow. He found the net three times and started for Rangers in the Scottish Cup Final win over Hearts at Hampden. Ex-Ibrox star Alan Hutton expected more from the 19-year-old and felt he would have had more of an impact at the club. He has no doubt he is talented and believes he should return north of the border and prove the doubters wrong.
