Should the Boston Celtics consider trading 2023 Sixth Man of the Year Malcolm Brogdon for Chicago Bulls point guard Alex Caruso? On one hand, Caruso would add a defensive element to Boston’s bench that the Celtics could arguably use in the wake of dealing the NBA’s 2022 Defensive Player of the Year Marcus Smart to the Memphis Grizzlies for star Washington Wizards big man Kristaps Porzingis.
On the other hand, Brogdon is a considerably better player overall and on offense, which may matter more given head coach Joe Mazzulla’s focus on that end of the court last season, to start.
