Shortlist revealed for Daily Post/North Wales Live Business Awards

The Daily Post/North Wales Live Business Awards 2021 is set to take place in March, with the shortlist published today.

The awards – backed by headline sponsor Bangor University – recognise every type of business, from small ventures to the giants of the region.

They give firms an opportunity to feature in Wales’s biggest selling regional newspaper as one of the area’s success stories, as well as online on North Wales Live and Business Live, who support the awards.

The awards ceremony was due to take place in December but was postponed due to an increase in Covid infections.

Now, all being well, it will take place on March 31 at Bangor University, hosted by ITV weather presenter Emma Jesson.

Tickets are now on sale.

The awards are also being supported by category sponsors ADRA, Development Bank of Wales, Busnes@LlandrilloMenai, Cartrefi Conwy, Harlech Foodservice and M-SParc.

Daily Post Business Editor Owen Hughes said: “It has been a such a difficult two years for businesses, but the judges were amazed at the standard of the entries.

“They have highlighted once again the incredible resilience and innovation of our business community in North Wales.”

Prof Iwan Davies, vice-chancellor of Bangor University, said: “We are keen so share our expertise and have a long track record of working with business and industry and are delighted to reward business excellence through these Awards.”
