Shorthanded Boston Celtics ‘find a way to steal a win’, despite sloppy play vs. Raptors

The Boston Celtics managed to secure a hard-fought victory against the Toronto Raptors at TD Garden on Friday night, prevailing 120-118 despite facing the twin challenges of excessive turnovers and a determined Raptors comeback late in the tilt. Star Celtics forward Jaylen Brown’s outstanding play, putting up 31 points, played a pivotal role in the Celtics’ narrow win against the Raptors.

Brown, in an interview after the game, stressed the need to stay composed and trust in their game plan. The ball club faced an important test playing short-handed without key players like All-NBA forward Jayson Tatum, star big man Kristaps Porzingis, and veteran forward Al Horford, and passed if not with flying colors.

NBC Sports Boston’s Eddie House and Brian Scalabrine joined Amina Smith to talk about the win on “Postgame Live” — check it out below.
