Shops including John Lewis and Primark to close on Monday for Queen's funeral

A number of retailers will be closed on Monday due to the Queen's funeral.

Primark and John Lewis are among those who have confirmed that their doors will remain shut on September 19. The day has been confirmed to be a Bank Holiday by the new King, Charles III.

Primark confirmed it will shut all its 191 high street stores on Monday. The value fashion chain said its stores will reopen for normal hours the following day.
