Looking to achieve sleek, frizz-free hair without the hefty price tag? Well, you’re in luck as Aldi is selling a dupe of ghd’s famous hair straighteners - and they’re half the price.
Costing just £44.99, beauty lovers are raving about the Remington Shine Therapy Hair Straighteners, claiming them to be the ‘best hair straighteners ever.’
The exact straighteners are being sold for £84.99 on Remington which is double the price of Aldi’s offering. We’ve also spotted them on Boots for £64.99 and they’re on sale at Amazon for £63.39 - but the budget supermarket beats all three on price.
Many customers have compared their quality and performance to higher-end hair tools, including GHD's £119 origional straighteners, claiming Remington’s version are just as good, with one customer even warning people not to ‘waste your money on competitors!’
Aldi’s product description reads: “These premium hair straighteners will have you looking your absolute best for your next event. With rose gold accents, the PROluxe straightener locks in beautiful and healthy-looking styles all day long.”
The straighteners boast nine different temperature settings and feature intelligent OPTIheat technology that uses targeted heat where it is needed most, so that hair styles last longer and feel straighter. There’s also an easy to read digital display so you can control your desired temperature by the touch of a button, and temperatures reach 230°C.
Coming with a heat proof pouch, the device heats up in 10 seconds, and is fitted with an automatic safety shut off after 60 minutes - great if you’re always panicking about leaving the straighteners on when you leave the house (we’ve all been there)
