Air fryers have grown in popularity as one of the quickest and most energy-efficient cooking appliances. As the rising cost of living continues to take a toll on households, many people have stopped using ovens to air-fry their food instead.
However, whilst air fryers are ideal for slashing the price of energy costs, they can be pretty hard to clean after using.
Shoppers have discovered that a bargain Wilko item can get air fryers clean very quickly - and it costs only £1.75.
Sharing bicarbonate of soda to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, savvy shopper Liz Bradley said: "A game changer for me if uve got an air fryer and you can’t get grease of basket put some over basket and add boiling water and leave to steep then wipes straight off I was really amazed."
Wilko currently sells the best-value bicarbonate of sofa, which is priced at £1.75 for 500g. The retailer is also doing a three for £3.50 deal - so you can stock up without breaking the bank.
Commenting on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK post, one shopper said: "Bicarbonate best thing since sliced bread got a big bucket I use it for everything."
While another wrote: "Best cleaning product around. Makes light work of oven doors."
