An industrial building in Mitchell has been engulfed in smoke after a fire broke out, believed to have been sparked by an electric vehicle charger.
Fire and Rescue crews were called to Darling Street just before 11am on Saturday, May 23.
Paramedics also attended the scene as a precaution, though there were no reports of injuries.
An emergency services spokesperson said the blaze was believed to have been caused by an electric vehicle charging port.
Firefighters have since extinguished the fire and are continuing to cool the affected battery.
